Newer Technology (NewerTech) has released a 750GB version of NewerTech miniStack V2 FireWire and USB 2.0 combo storage solution with integrated port expansion hubs.

The new US$599.99 is an external FireWire 400/USB 2.0 single-drive solution that also integrates USB 2.0 and FireWire powered hubs. Also available are 80GB to 500GB models with the same port expanding features with prices starting at $129.

The NewerTech miniStack has a profile of 6.5 inches wide by 6.5 inches long by 1.5 inches tall. It contains three USB 2.0 ports and one additional FireWire Port. All miniStack models feature an Oxford 911-Plus based custom bridge, are EMC Backup Certified with direct support in EMC’s Retrospect backup software. The drives come with FireWire and USB cabling, Intech HD Speedtools utility suite, Retrospect and a two-year warranty.
