NewerTech on Thursday announced the release of a 55.5 watt-hour NuPower replacement battery designed to work on 12-inch iBook G3 and G4 systems. The $129.99 battery offers up to 51 percent more charge capacity than the original stock battery included with those iBook models. NewerTech also makes a 45.5 watt-hour battery for those systems for $99.95. NewerTech offers a free battery recycling program — the company includes a free return label so you can ship the battery back for appropriate disassembly and recycling. NuPower batteries are built in the USA. |
