NewerTech Adds Retrospect Backup, SpeedTools to miniStack DIY Kit

Newer Technology on Thursday announced the addition of EMC Retrospect Backup and Intech HD SpeedTools software to its "Add Your Own Hard Drive" miniStack enclosure kit. Pricing is US$84.95. The enclosure, which features the same dimensions as a Mac mini and is designed to sit under the computer, sports three USB 2.0 and two FireWire 400 ports, with the ability to add any ATA hard drive up to 750GB in capacity.
The miniStack is also available in 80GB ($119.99), 160GB ($139.99), 250GB ($159.99), 320GB ($189.99), 400GB ($259.99), 500GB ($279), and 750GB ($495) capacities, all of them including the same software. NewerTech also offers an "Add Your Own Hard Drive" miniStack enclosure kit with no software for $74.95.
